The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce a collaboration with Boardmasters, to provide support for the Surf & Music Festival taking place from the 7 – 11th August 2019 across two sites at Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach, Cornwall.
Cornish Pirates’ stewarding team will be welcoming and assisting festivalgoers throughout the event, our players and coaches will energise festivalgoers each morning with fitness classes and our outreach team will engage with the local Newquay community to deliver a range of pre-event activities, all of this will be done in conjunction with the Boardmasters team.
Robin James, Cornish Pirates COO stated,
The Cornish Pirates are big fans of Boardmasters with players and staff having attended many wonderful festivals over the years. As well as being talented professional rugby players many are budding musicians and surfers and we are all excited to work with this energetic event which is a huge part of Cornwall’s summer.
Being able to be part of the festival and watch the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Florence + the Machine, Foals, The Wombats, Jorja Smith and Franz Ferdinand will be an exciting weekend for our team and players just prior to the start of our 2019/2020 pre-season.
We look forward to strong support from all our fans and if any have stewarding, or related experience and wish to get-involved then please contact our Jan Rendall, Email firstname.lastname@example.org
