This important Foundation, established by the Stadium for Cornwall Partners, has been designed to engage with the wider community in mind to promote participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for sporting activity to improve health and wellbeing.
The programme reaches out and delivers fun, engaging, active and challenging sessions that generate lifelong interest in sport to schools and organisations throughout the whole of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The aim of the Foundation is to offer a unique sporting and learning experience, with the focus on programmes across the main pillars of participation, education and nutrition, health and wellbeing, inclusion, disability, and equality.
The collection at the Mennaye Field, the first such fundraiser, saw not just £670 donated by generous supporters, but also a further £250 added from the hospitality 50/50 Draw money, with special thanks to match day sponsor DA Giles.
