By Phil Westren

Lock Josh Caulfield, who was dual-registered with Cornish Pirates and Exeter Chiefs last season, featured for England under 20s on Tuesday when they beat South Africa in the semi-final of the Under 20s World Rugby Championship.

Played at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi, Georgia, skipper Zach Mercer scored two of England’s three tries in a 24-22 win.

England under 20s will now play New Zealand under 20s in the final on Sunday, the All Blacks having beaten France 39-26.

The defending champions, England will be chasing a fourth title in five years, having won in 2013, 2014 and 2016.

For anyone wishing to watch the final on television, it is being shown on ITV4, with a 3pm kick-off BST.
