Spring it would seem, had sprung at last - as this particular rugby fixture provided clear evidence that 'We' do indeed - know how to “jolly well carry on”. This in spite of this week's futile attempt to disrupt the notion in the Capital. Sixty sun drenched seconds prior to kick off, can only have underlined the unity on display.

The ensuing eighty minutes exemplified how camaraderie is executed on our field of play – with Doncaster & the Pirates hammering ten bells out of each other, in the pursuit of that prized play off spot.

Coming into the game and it was the visitors seemingly in the driving seat, with a nine point cushion to defend. Or indeed extend – thus taking them out of the Cornishmen's range. Given the hosts' run of three defeats prior – form suggested this was of a high probability given the Knights' success over Carnegie the week before.

But then what does 'form' know?

A brisk opening from both sides, suggested a lively and entertaining encounter beckoned. We weren't to be disappointed....
