Noah Sixton Joins The PDF

18yr old Wing/Centre Noah Sixton is the latest talented young Cornish prospect to join the Cornish Pirates Player Development Foundation (PDF).

We first saw him in action when he scored two tries for ‘Pirates 2’ in the recent 10s tournament at the Mennaye.

As part of his development he is expected to gain valuable game time and experience at Camborne

He has had two seasons at Truro College and also played for Exeter Chiefs Academy.

Last year he was in the Truro College side that won the AASE Plate Final 30-27 against Filton College at Saracens’ Allianz Park.

He played his youth rugby at Newquay Hornets and represented Cornwall Schools at under 16s

Pirates, director of rugby Ian Davies"Noah is young man who will combine studying at Truro College and training with us at the Pirates." said Ian Davies Director of Rugby

This is again an example of the strong links we have with Truro & Penwith College and how this partnership can benefit our PDF players."

The Player Development Foundation - PDF

The PDF has become instrumental in developing the senior squad from within and the furthering the aim to have a majority of Cornish players in the squad.

We hope that even more will not only see the fruits of the PDF, but the rationale in the Cornish Pirates championing this route for young talent.

Fundraising for the PDF is ongoing and your contribution will be invaluable.
