At a time when there has been positive player news aplenty from the Cornish Pirates, it is confirmed that hooker Morgan Nelson will be returning for next season.
The Cornish Pirates today welcome Ampthill to the Mennaye Field for a scheduled Round 20 fixture in this season’s RFU Championship (ko 2.30pm).
The Cornish Pirates can confirm the signing of wing/centre Ben Cambriani for next season. Swansea-born Ben, aged 25, was educated at Bishopston Comprehensive School and has played for Ospreys, Ampthill, Zebre Parma, and Wales 7s.
This SATURDAY will see the Cornish Pirates welcome Hartpury to the Mennaye Field for a scheduled Round 19 fixture in this season’s RFU Championship (ko 2.30pm).
The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce that hooker Matt Pritchard has signed his first professional contract, to remain a Pirate in 25/26. The Cornish born forward has made two Championship appearances this season after joining on loan from Redruth, scoring in both games including most recently at Coventry last weekend.
The Cornish Pirates can confirm that fly-half Bruce Houston will be departing Cornwall at the end of this season to join French team Bourg-en-Bresse - Union Sportive Bressane (US Bressane) – who currently compete in France's Nationale league (the third level of French club rugby).
