With the 2022/23 rugby season only a few weeks away, the Cornish Pirates can confirm the names of seven gifted players who will be dual registered with Exeter Chiefs.
The Cornish Pirates are saddened to announce that a loyal supporter of the club, Bobby Jacka, has passed away peacefully at the Poldhu Care Home, Mullion, on Wednesday.
The Cornish Pirates are delighted to announce that backrower John Stevens will be the club captain for the 2022/23 season.
The marquee at the Mennaye Field, Penzance, will be the venue on Saturday 30th July when Lions’ rugby stars Jack Nowell, Luke Cowan-Dickie, and Stuart Hogg will be present for what promises to be a fantastic evening.
Forming a golf threesome last Friday, to play in a fundraiser to benefit the Wooden Spoon rugby charity, were Brooks Financial Planning advisor Ed Mortimore and Cornish Pirates players Harry Bazalgette and Ruaridh Dawson.
An early team building opportunity for the Cornish Pirates saw the squad visit the ‘Boatshed Activity Centre – Stones Reef Praa Sands’ last Saturday.
Joining the Cornish Pirates as a loan signing for the 2022/23 season will be prop forward Harvey Beaton from Saracens.
The annual Cornish Pirates ‘Meet the Players’ Evening will take place at the Mennaye Field on Friday 5th August - with additions!
