Head Physiotherapist Felicity 'Fliss' Middleton

Fliss was Head Physiotherapist with us from 2013/14 through to 2015/16

Born in New South Wales, Australia, Fliss grew up on a Merino stud farm and then studied Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University from where she graduated in 2003.

Working initially at Canberra Hospital, she then moved on to The Sports Medicine Centre, where she was a physio for the Australian under 17 and under 20s football teams.

She also worked for the Canberra Capitals side that competes in the Australian Women's Basketball League and the Uni-North rugby club in Canberra.

Fliss gained further qualifications following a period at La Trobe University, graduating in 2010 with a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy.

Not just a Physiotherapist with Newport Gwent Dragons, but before joining the Pirates Fliss toured with Wales U20s side that competed in the IRB's Junior World Championships held in South Africa.

Besides rugby and her work, Fliss enjoys equestrian and water sports, with surfing now likely on her agenda.
