The Spearhead of rugby and development across Cornwall.

The Cornish Pirates have always maintained a strong relationship with the Cornish community, particularly in support of rugby clubs, schools and charities.

Through strong partnership work, particularly with the RFU, CRFU and the Cornwall Sports Partnership, the Cornish Pirates aim to offer high quality delivery & support to those actively working in the community.

Specifically, the Cornish Pirates aim to nurture the developing rugby talent across Cornwall both on and off the field through working with not just players (of all ages & sizes) but also with coaches, teaches and club development programmes.

Through doing this, the Cornish Pirates aim to:

Promote the CORE Values of our sport: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

Promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

Act as role models to young aspiring rugby players

Be an accessible point of reference for the rugby community across Cornwall.

Support the delivery of rugby in clubs & schools across all ages and genders

Support the delivery of the CRFU Developing Player Pathways

Support the development of Coaches & Teachers through the Coach Education Programme

Form a close and more personal relationship with clubs through the Club Partnerships Programme
