The Cornish Pirates have more good news ahead of the 2015/16 season as Keiran Hallett, Laurence May and Tyler Gendall commit to the club for next season.
Fly-half Kieran Hallett aged 29, is an accomplished and experienced performer and currently second in this season's Greene King IPA Championship's Top 10 Kickers list
Along with Tom Kessell and Darren Barry, he was in the Championship XV side that beat Canada 28-23 at Sixways in November.
Another fly-half, 20yr old Devon born Laurence May, is a young player with the ability and attitude to further develop his game and starred in last Friday’s victory against Bedford at Goldington Road.
He has been dual-registered with Exeter Chiefs this season and has also played at full-back.
20yr old Prop Tyler Gendall’s signing is further proof of the success of the Player Development Foundation (PDF).
Cornishman Tyler made an impressive start to the season before suffering an unfortunate knee injury that limited his game time. He is expected to be back to full fitness for the start of the 2015/16 campaign and we look forward to him making further impact and continuing his progression.
"I suppose we have the two ends of the spectrum” said Director of Rugby, Ian Davies. “Kieran is a guy on top of the Championship outside half tree while Laurence and Tyler are both rewarded for cracking first seasons with us. “
“All three have made significant contributions this season and I look forward to further helping them achieve their rugby ambitions."
