Tom Channon - Hooker
Tom signed for the Pirates in the spring of 2013 from Bristol.
He made his senior debut for Bristol against the Pirates in a B&I Cup match at the Mennaye in September 2011 and in total made 15 appearances for Bristol.
In his first two seasons with the Cornish Pirates he passed the 50 games milestone and at the end of 2014/15 gained the Sportsman of the Year award.
Tom played at scrum-half until the age of 17 when he moved into the pack as a versatile and powerful scrummager.

Tom, who was educated at Torquay Grammar School and departed with three A-levels, played his early rugby for Newton Abbot at the Rackerhayes ground.
He represented the Devon club from under 8s to seniors, but for a break played for Torquay Colts and Torquay, before returning to Newton Abbot.
In his junior rugby days he played at scrum-half, but from the age of 17 moved into the pack as a versatile and powerful scrummager who can play all three front-row positions.
Tom's twin brother Sam also plays rugby and has represented Cambridge University in the under 21s 'Varsity' match, whilst dad Rod is a former Torquay and Ivybridge player.
Oh, and if the Pirates are looking to create a little more noise about, it is noted that Tom is a keen musician - who's been playing the drums for eight years!
