Max Bodilly – Full-BackMax - who is dual registered with Exeter Chiefs - impressed on his debut for the Cornish Pirates in August 2013 and impressed still further against Saracens at the Honourable Artillery Company in the heart of the City of London.

His Championship debut was a try scoring man-of-the-match performance at home to Jersey.

In total he made 15 appearances during his first season and scored a total of seven tries.

In the 2014/15 season Max Played a key role in helping the Chiefs  reach the LV=Cup Final for the second successive year and took his games tally for the Cornish Pirates to 31.

Max is from Newlyn and attended Newlyn Primary School before moving on to Mounts Bay School and then Truro College where he studied for a National Diploma in Sports Performance and Excellence, as well as an advanced apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE).

A member of the Pirates Youth Section from under 8s to under 16s, Max was coached by his dad Martyn, a former Camborne and St. Just player, and also Russell Ahearne.

He has also played for St. Just, St. Ives and the Exeter Chiefs Academy's under 18s side, besides in the past having played cricket for Paul CC.
