Travel / Directions & Train Times

Following the excellent start to this season’s cup campaign against Connacht Eagles in Galway, we welcome Ospreys Premiership Select to the Mennaye on Sunday

Whilst the Ospreys squad ventured to West Cornwall in August 2011for a spot of pre-season training, this Is the first visit of the Premiership Select side.

Ospreys PS lost 25-14 to London Irish in their Cup opener at the Gnoll (Neath) on Saturday so will arrive determined to get a win under their belts.

Former ‘Pirate’ Rheon James, who now plays his club rugby for Aberavon Wizards, could feature in the match, as he was used as a replacement against London Irish.

With a 23-10 victory away against Connacht Eagles last weekend, the boys will be looking to build on that result with another win this weekend.

Coach Alan Paver - looking forward to Sunday’s challenge - said: “We take the Cup very seriously and really enjoy playing different sides. “

“It’s different from the Championship where squads are more or less the same week in week out, so for the Cup we take the opportunity to focus more on ourselves to prepare the best we can.”
