The Pirates take the road to face the challenge of Nottingham this weekend. Just a point separates the two sides in the table; the Pirates have scored 57 points to Nottingham’s 49, whilst both sides have 48 against.

Games between the two sides usually provide a hard fought and intriguing contest, although last season having drawn them in the B&I cup we played them four times and came away victorious on 3 out of 4 occasions..

“Sunday will be a tough contest against a likely nuggety Nottingham side." said Pirates' co-coach Alan Paver. We must be prepared for them to come out firing and I think it will be close.”

“The boys are hungry and keen to progress, our aim will be to put our systems in place, play our game, and see where that takes us.”
