Having gained a bonus point win against Ospreys PS in Maesteg last Saturday, all attention turns to tomorrow’s game where a good win could secure a Quarter Final spot.

“We were a little  dejected after losing a close game at London Irish in December, however, we were keen to stay positive and bounce back to put in performances that would give us a chance of squeezing through to the quarter-final stage.” Said coach Alan Paver.

“The win last weekend away to Ospreys Premiership Select was massive for us, and we’ll now go out all guns blazing against Connacht Eagles on Saturday and try to progress in the competition.”

Like Paves, fellow coach Gavin Cattle is also targeting the quarter finals; “Our approach to the game will be similar to last week, but hopefully in better weather.

We are obviously going for the win first and foremost but if we can get the bonus point then it could secure a quarter-final place.

“Our research on the Eagles doesn’t provide an accurate picture as they’ve had an inconsistent selection and a fairly young team.”

“In these types of games it’s important not to be complacent and to focus on yourself and let them worry about us rather than the other way around.”
