What better way to end the season than to play Bedford at home, this is all set to be one of those not to be missed games with the party atmosphere further heightened by the presence of the Falmouth Marine Band.

In recent seasons, this game has been an entertaining, high scoring fixture and certainly one for the spectator, with the weather set fair more of the same is expected.

It is also an opportunity to show appreciation and get behind a group of players who have put in tremendous effort throughout the season and with this in mind there will be a number of awards presented from the main grandstand after the game.

Looking forward to the game Coach Alan Paver said: “As we come to the end of what has been an exciting and in many ways successful season, we will be looking top it off with a really good performance against Bedford, and if it’s good enough to win then great."

"Together as a team we are already looking to next season and the importance to keep moving and driving forward.”

Reflecting on the past season he said: “Overall it’s been a learning curve, for co-coach Gavin and I especially, and also for the players.

There have though been a lot of highs, including beating the likes of Doncaster, Ealing Trailfinders and Yorkshire Carnegie away.

Displaying resilience and being competitive in games against London Irish was also pleasing. We wanted to beat them in one of our four encounters, and went particularly close in one game, but it wasn’t to be.”
