Charity Bike Ride

On Sunday 14th August a keen crew of cyclists will be cycling from the hamlet of Bissoe to the Mennaye Field, Penzance, and then back to Bissoe.

Entry fee for the 50 mile bike ride – a ride like a Pro social ride with a rugby theme – is £25

All proceeds will be split 50/50 between the Cycling Academy Fund and the as yet to be confirmed Cornish Pirates chosen charity for the forthcoming 2016/17 rugby season.

Participants will be accompanied by Team & Academy riders from both Saint Piran Cycling and the One and All Cycling clubs, with mobile mechanical support also provided.

A minimum of 25 riders are needed, and definitely included among them will be Woll (Martin Woollatt), a keen cyclist and rugby man, the wordsmith behind many of the our match reports.

Other well-known Pirate figures hoping to take part in the charity bike ride include Team Manager ‘Jan’ Rendall, Coach Alan Paver, plus a number of players.
